Advocacy Trips

VICA monthly advocacy trips to the State Capitol are crucial to ensuring the voice of the business community is heard by legislators. The Sacramento trips allow VICA staff and members to interact with lawmakers and discuss the issues that are most important to our members. VICA also joins other business groups in an annual two-day trip to Sacramento.

VICA members have the opportunity to join VICA staff on these monthly and annual trips. The perspectives and insights from the business community is very important in the dialogue with elected officials.

VICA joins other Southern California business advocacy groups in an annual spring trip to Washington, D.C. for Access D.C. There is opportunity to join more than 200 civic and business leaders for the region’s premier advocacy trip to the nation’s capital. With so much at stake, this is an important opportunity to meet with members of Congress and senior Administration officials on priorities important to Southern California.

The trip is in partnership with the Greater Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and other business groups. Register with VICA for exclusive access to additional meetings, lunch and the opportunity to join the VICA delegation dinner (additional fee for dinner)
