    Jessica Yasukochi, Vice President Jessica Yasukochi, Vice President

    Jessica oversees all VICA operations, including finances and events.

    Education: Graduate from Wilder High School in Idaho and from CSU, Northridge with a degree in Asian American studies and a minor in political science

    Grew up in: Wilder, Idaho and Shizuoka, Japan

    Favorite job: Guest Relations Lead at Magic Mountain

    Cathy Mendoza, Director of Operations Cathy Mendoza, Director of Operations

     

    Cathy will be the first point of contact for many VICA members and partners. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of VICA's office, as well as event support, communications duties, and other administrative tasks.

    Yoko Coleman, Director of Membership Development Yoko Coleman, Director of Membership Development

    Yoko is responsible for strategic partnerships, event sponsorships, developing and cultivating corporate members, and member relations.

     

    Education: B.A. in Fine Arts from Cal State University of Fullerton

     

    Grew up in: Orange County and was born in Fukuoka, Japan

    Victor Reyes-Morelos, Legislative Affairs Manager Victor Reyes-Morelos, Legislative Affairs Manager

    Victor supports the legislative affairs and communications functions at VICA. He is responsible for some of the VICA member communications, he researches and tracks bills, ordinances, and ballot measures and prepares action alerts and letters for VICA's advocacy work. 

    Education: UC Irvine, Bachelors in Political Science, emphasis in International Relations & Public Law, 2019; Pasadena City College, AA in Political Science, Business, Social & Behavioral Sciences
