Caroline Menjivar State Senator (20th District)
Senator Caroline Menjivar took the Oath of Office on December 5, 2022, and represents Burbank and the San Fernando Valley in California’s 20th Senate District. The Senator is a first-generation American and the daughter of Salvadorean immigrants, and is the Chair of Budget Subcommittee #3 on Health and Human Services. Prior to her election, she served in the Marine Corps from 2009 to 2016, completed her bachelor's degree at CSUN, and had hands-on experience in the health care industry while working as an EMT. Pilar Schiavo Assemblywoman (40th District)
Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo was elected to the California State Assembly in November of 2022 to represent the 40th Assembly District, which includes the Northwest San Fernando Valley and the Santa Clarita Valley. Upon her election, she was appointed as Assistant Majority Whip by Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon. The Assemblywoman previously worked as a Small Business Owner and Nurse Advocate, helping deliver healthcare to over one million people.
